SEO Services in Qatar

Search engine optimization run bilingually from Doha, in Arabic and English.

Qatar is a small, concentrated market. A keyword with ninety searches a month here can be worth a six-figure contract, and a keyword with nine thousand searches can be worth nothing. We start by separating the two, because that decision determines everything that follows.

What is SEO?

SEO, or search engine optimization, is the work of making a website easier for search engines to crawl and easier for people to choose in the results. It has three parts: technical health so pages can be indexed and load quickly, content that answers what people actually search for, and signals from other sites that establish the business is real and credible. In Qatar it also means doing all of that twice, in Arabic and in English.

First signs
Usually 4–8 weeks: indexing, impressions and click-through rate move first.
Competitive terms
Head terms in Qatar commonly take 4–6 months to settle on page one.
What it is not
Not paid ads. Traffic stops the day you stop paying for ads; SEO compounds.
Guarantees
No agency can guarantee a position. Anyone who does is selling something else.
The service

What SEO with Al Majaz actually covers

Six areas. Most engagements use all of them, weighted differently depending on what the audit finds.

Technical SEO

Crawlability, indexing, site speed and Core Web Vitals, canonical tags, structured data, and the hreflang setup that decides whether your Arabic and English pages support each other or compete. This is where most Qatari sites lose ground before a single word is written.

Keyword research and content

Mapping the questions your buyers actually type, then deciding which page answers each one so two of your own pages never compete for the same query. Then writing pages worth ranking, rather than padding existing ones with keywords.

Arabic SEO

Arabic search is not English search translated. Spelling variants, transliteration, Gulf phrasing, right-to-left layout and Arabic URL structure all change what ranks. Most agencies bolt Arabic on at the end. We treat it as its own discipline.

Local SEO and Google Maps

Getting into the Maps results for searches tied to Doha and the surrounding areas: business profile, categories, reviews in both languages, and consistent business data across directories. More on our local SEO services page.

E-commerce SEO

Category and product pages, faceted navigation that does not flood the index, product schema, and the internal linking that decides which products get found at all. Detailed on our e-commerce SEO page.

Authority and digital PR

Earning mentions and links from Qatari media, industry bodies and local directories, because relevance beats volume in a market this size. We do not buy links. Bought links are the single most common reason a site loses its rankings overnight.

Want to know what your own Search Console would look like six months from now?

Past performance on one site does not predict the result on another. Every market, starting point and competitive set is different, which is why we record a baseline for your site before any work begins and measure against that rather than against someone else's chart.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about SEO in Qatar

Direct answers to what companies ask before committing a budget.

How much do SEO services cost in Qatar?
Cost is driven by scope rather than a fixed rate card: how many pages, how many languages, how competitive the terms are, and whether we implement the technical fixes or only recommend them. A single-language local campaign is a very different piece of work from a bilingual site with hundreds of pages. We quote a fixed monthly price against a written scope after the audit, so you know what you are buying before you commit. Be careful with unusually cheap offers: the margin usually comes from bought links, which is the one shortcut that can cost you your rankings entirely.
How long does SEO take to show results?
Expect the first measurable movement in four to eight weeks: pages getting indexed, impressions rising, and click-through rate improving on pages that already rank. Meaningful ranking change on competitive Qatari terms commonly takes four to six months. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is either targeting keywords nobody searches or using methods that will eventually hurt you.
Can you guarantee a number one ranking on Google?
No, and neither can anyone else. Nobody controls Google's results, and Google states plainly that no one can guarantee placement. What we can commit to is the work: what will be done, by when, and measured against a baseline recorded before we start. An agency that guarantees a position is either guaranteeing something worthless, such as a keyword nobody searches, or planning to use methods that create a much bigger problem later.
Do you do SEO in Arabic as well as English?
Yes, and we treat Arabic as its own discipline rather than a translation of the English plan. Arabic keyword research is done separately, because spelling variants, transliteration and Gulf phrasing change which terms actually carry search volume. We also check the technical pairing between your two language versions, which is broken far more often than site owners realise and quietly halves the results of both.
What is the difference between SEO and local SEO?
SEO works on your website's position in the standard results. Local SEO works on the map results and the business profile that appears for searches tied to a place, such as "near me" or a district in Doha. They use different signals: local SEO depends heavily on your business profile, reviews and the consistency of your business details across the web. Most companies in Qatar need both, and we cover the second in detail on our local SEO page.
Will SEO work if my website is old or slow?
Usually yes, but the sequence matters. If the site cannot be crawled properly, or takes many seconds to load on a phone, content work is wasted effort until that is fixed. The audit tells us whether we are looking at a handful of technical fixes or a rebuild. When it is a rebuild, we say so — and our web development team can do it without you briefing a second supplier.
Do you buy backlinks?
No. Bought links are against Google's guidelines and are the most common reason a site loses rankings suddenly after months of apparent progress. We earn mentions and links through local press, industry bodies, directories and genuinely useful content. It is slower, and it does not evaporate.
Who owns the accounts and the content?
You do, throughout. Search Console, Analytics, the business profile and every page we write stay in your name, and we work as users on your properties rather than holding them in ours. If the engagement ends, nothing leaves with us. Agencies that keep accounts in their own name are creating leverage, not value.
What do you need from us to start?
Access to Search Console and Analytics, or permission to set them up; access to the website for implementation, or an internal developer we can brief; and one person on your side who can approve content. It also helps enormously to know which services are actually profitable for you, so we do not spend months ranking the ones you would rather not sell.
What happens if we stop after a few months?
The technical fixes and the pages remain yours and keep working, which is the main difference between SEO and advertising. Rankings do not vanish overnight, but they do erode as competitors keep publishing and Google keeps changing. SEO is closer to maintenance than to a one-off project, and we will say honestly whether a short engagement is worth starting in your case.
